Unusable in current state

The exterior of the jack itself is fine. However, I cannot fit any 3.5 mm plugs into the jack. It is unusable in it's current state because of this. I wish I could rate this product more stars, but because of this flaw I have to rate it low.

Thank you for your review! We will be looking into your issue as I noted other reviews state similar issues. Please reach out to us at support@handheldlegend.com so we can resolve this for you!

Edit: We have done testing and found that the spring retainer is slightly off. However, if you do one hard push of a cable into the jack, you will then set the retainer in the right position and it will work properly. It is a snug fit but it does work.

flawed retainer means it doesn't fit

I got this jack and best I can tell, the spring retainer is jammed or fused in the body of the jack. I cannot insert 3.5mm plugs at all! I probably got unlucky, but my part is unusable.

I'm sorry to hear of the issue! Please message us at support@handheldlegend.com so we may get this resolved for you.

Came unthreaded

This seems like a really sturdy jack, but my one that i purchased came without the thread essentially eliminating the panel mount option as the retention screw cannot be screwed on. Little but disappointed :/

Generic

When I did my first pro sound mod, I bought this jack. Buy now, I might have about 100 laying around. But soon after, I found that I could buy a10-pack on amazon for 7.00. If you just want one, buy it. But if you need more, just go to amazon
