FEATURES:

  • Printed on a specially made Game Boy DMG Shell. 
  • Can be used with IPS sized and normal sized lenses.
  • Comes with front and back shell cover screws, and standard console sticker.

NOTES:

  • Shell can still be used for regular DMG's without IPS screens. Just purchase regular sized screen and be aware of having to position/secure the original screen down center in view due to the opening being larger than normal.

Didn’t quite meet expectations but still good.

1, the screen opening needed to be enlarged for the funnyplaying IPS screen. So not exactly IPS ready, but close.
2, the colors in the print aren’t as vibrant as they seem on my monitor. Could just be my eyes or my monitor, so take that for what it is, my opinion.
3, the print is only on the front face and not all over. I got the splash version, the rest is clear black. Not sure I saw that listed. Again, something to be aware of.
4, the printed design feels… a little sticky. Was a bit unexpected.

Overall it looks cool and is a fun departure from the yellowed shell it replaced, but next time I think I’ll skip the print.
