Behold the holy grail of Game Boy Advance Shells from our partner RetroSix.
The fit, feel and tolerance on the RetroSix ABS shell is better than the original. The buttons are stronger with newer ABS and more accurate molds than the original, the buttons and triggers are ultra-responsive, the plastic is much stronger and free of any detects like those you get on injection-molded shells.

NOTES:
- We recommend only pairing these shells with RetroSix button sets. Triggers from any other company may have fitment issues with shell.
- Prestige shells may need some trimming near the start/select area inside shell.
- Shell can still be used for regular GBAs without IPS screens. Just purchase regular sized screen and be aware of having to position/secure the original screen down centered in view due to the opening being larger than normal.
- Not recommended/compatible with Laminated LCD kits.
- Clear variants will be more frosted than crystal clear. We have Crystal Clear shells available here.
- The shells feature self-threading screws as the screw posts are not pre-threaded. To avoid damage, do not over-tighten, as this may cause cracks. Refunds are not given in these instances.

PEARL SHELLS + CLEANING:
- Use of Isopropyl Alcohol on these shells will cause the finish to wear away.
- To clean the Pearl shells use a clean white microfiber cloth and mild solvent of your choice. When using a colored microfiber cloth, the solvent can dissolve the dye and stain your shell.

The color is wonderful but I did have a lot of trouble with fitment. I had to file down a lot of high spots and I had to trim a lip off the I/O Shield. The screws that came with this kit were terrible. Non-ferrous and very easy to strip out, I should have just bought some additional Hardware.
Very good quality, the only issue I had is that the case doesn't close completely, so get used to seeing the edges a little open. The screws included in the kit get damaged very easily. The case doesn't have the Nintendo achievement engraved on it. In the end, with the whole set I bought, it turned out too beautiful.
This shell has a very unique, soft feel to it that is actually really nice to hold. It doesn't get covered in fingerprints, either, which is a bonus. I got the Pearl Green shell because I was intrigued by the description of the anti-slip finish (and I prefer matte finishes). Definitely a bold color, but I've played my GBA more in the last 24 hours than I have all last month due to how satisfying it feels to hold.
Very easy installation, the shell, buttons, and screen were all easy to install - no soldering required. I added the USB-C to the mod and love it!! Took about 1 hour to do the whole thing. Overall 10/10
After about 4 hours with the new case and its already showing signs of wear. Customer support only offering a discount on another case. It's sad I'm on my 3rd build with handheld legends, first time trying this case and there's little to no support. I guess ill be taking my business elsewhere.

Once an item has been installed/used, we cannot offer full replacements because items could have been damaged at any time during the install, even if it was not noticed by you at the time. Purchases are eligible for return within 30 days of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
When you receive a backlight/LCD kit, you should perform a dry run before installing to assure that nothing has been damaged in transit. A dry run or test fit means the kit is not installed in the shell. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of adhesives, brackets, and any performed soldering. All ribbon cables should have no bends or creases in them. If you are unsure how to perform a dry run, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help. Backlight kits that have been installed are not eligible for replacement or return. If a backlight/LCD is returned and shows any signs of having been installed, it will not be eligible for a refund.
Requested returns/refunds/exchanges for items you believe to be defective, will be subject to a troubleshooting process with our support team before proceeding with a return/replacement/refund.
Modifying a product in any way, including but not limited to removing or adding components, will result in the voiding of our return/refund policy.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Defective or damaged parts are free to return within 30 days of purchase. Shipping costs are not covered for items returned at a customer's request or the refusal of the troubleshooting process with our support. Refunds for shipping costs and Route Shipping Insurance will not be given.
Please note that international orders are not eligible for a prepaid shipping label for returns on defective products. Returns must be paid for by the customer.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 1-7 business days.

Orders that have been fulfilled by our shipping team cannot have edits made or be canceled.
