This kit is pretty easy to install. Probably a 2/10 on difficulty scale.

I wish there was a brightness setting. It looks pretty dang bright. That would actually make this kit perfect, but I'm not going to take a star off. It does what it says on the tin.

There is a way to turn the LEDs off, it works by button combos, you also use this to set the colors. It takes 10 seconds of holding the button combo to turn it off and on. A little long, but that's fine.

As another reviewer said, there are little circle LED things with adhesive that you put around the joysticks to make it glow.
The adhesive isn't the best and it took me a while to get it right, which at that point the adhesive wasn't really working at all. To lock them in place, I used a extremely tiny amount of super glue on 2 of the corners, but I can still remove it with ease if I'm inclined. When you have the LEDs on the joystick installed, insert the battery and wiggle them around a bit. You can tell if the adhesive didn't stick. It's a bit finicky.

The membranes, joysticks and buttons it came with feel great and just like OEM. It's a great kit.

Overall, I'm happy with it.

The board was really easy to install into the controller, even easier if you get the replacement shoulder/trigger housing also offered here. The only issue I have had with this mod is the adhesive on the joystick LED disks. I had to take the whole controller apart 4 or 5 times to get the adhesive to stick properly.
