This Famicom-inspired veneer design is laser-cut and etched from gold metallic sheets and perfectly fits the front and back of your original Game Boy shell. The veneer panels have pressure-sensitive adhesive applied to the back so you just have to peel and carefully stick it to the surface of your existing shell.
Note: Does not include any part of the shell or buttons. Front and back veneer panel only.

Good fit, good adhesive strength
Originally, I wanted to make a Gameboy styled like a Famicom, hence why I bought the veneer kit. Unfortunately, the shell in the photo has been discontinued for around 3 years and there aren't any red shells that match it's color. Trust me, I've looked. If you're trying to make a Gameboy Famicom like how I did, you should probably shouldn't as there isn't enough material out there to make it possible. But if you're using this kit for something else, I'd say get it. It's very high quality and comes with a felt gold Gameboy sticker which I thought was nice.
