the face plate looks really nice and feels smooth to the touch.
But its a cutout on a piece of plastic so it makes the face pate flush with the face buttons. Its kinda hard to play with this on since you kinda have to dig into the buttons but if you just want your Gameboy micro to look nice then this is the face plate for you
Thank you for your honest review! We do list a disclaimer on the product page in regards to the issue you have mentioned - 'These faceplates are thicker than their OEM counterparts. You may notice a difference in feel during gameplay.'
The faceplate is nice, but the buttons are mostly flush with the faceplate. This may be preferable to some, but not for me. Outside of that, the faceplate is slightly too wide and causes the center to bulge upward a bit. Lastly, the wood was a bit misaligned with the plastic behind it, but not noticeable unless you look really closely. Overall, I would recommend this product for display ONLY.
