$24.99 USD Sale price

Regular price $24.99 USD

This Game Boy Test Cartridge was given to technicians in order for them to test Game Boy systems for defects.  It runs some very simple programs and has the following tests on it's main menu:

  •   Auto Test
  •   Screen Test
  •   Controller Test
  •   Scroll Test
  •   Sound Test

This test cartridge will work on all Game Boy consoles, most notably the function that detects button-presses to ensure they’re working; note, though, that this particular cartridge cannot test the shoulder buttons on Game Boy Advance consoles, but can still evaluate the other buttons.

Game Boy Test Cartridge

Perfectly working on DMG and GBC / GBP.

Makes testing a breeze

I used this to test the gameboy I've had for years after a power supply, bivert, and backlight mod. It's something I should have gotten a long time ago. Being able to not only check the outer workings of the device, but also the internal components is a great help!

Such a great tool!

I LOVE this so much! I may not be able to test the shoulder buttons on an Advance or SP, BUT you can still use them and see if the screen gets filled or not and it still allows you to test it! It is such a wonderful tool and VERY helpful when testing multiple GB's over time!

Great way to test your Gameboy

A nice thing to have, not completely necessary, but it makes you feel like a Nintendo tech! My copy had some trouble when I first tested it, the "game" would go blank, but I opened it up, cleaned the PCB and it works perfectly now. All in all a cool little cart to have
