Game Gear 3.5 Inch Composite LCD

The original Game Gear display sets the bar low, but this screen has impressed me so far. I've tried the different modes and the scan lines and find that I prefer the default setting with no scanlines (it resets to that each time the system is powered on). The colors do not look washed out.

Photos from my phone do not do it justice, the picture looks great in-person, but you can clearly see the improvement over the original. (The new screen is also crooked in this video as my order mistakenly came with 2 of the same bracket so it was jerry-rigged in place while I waited for the replacement. They were quick to send a replacement, and in fact they sent me two of the other bracket so at the very least my spare has a proper match!)

Battery life has significantly improved; before, the low battery light flash meant I had something like 3 seconds to save my game. Now I actually have time to save or write down a password in a pinch.

Install isn’t very difficult at all just go slow when removing the old Video ribbon cable as you could tear off some pads definitely watch macho nachos instal video it helps a lot!

I talked to Luke with retrosix he told me the new cleanscreenn v3 with the pclock booster is set specific to retrosix display

As others have mentioned, the ribbon has very very tight tolerances. barely long enough to reach the connector. Could be the fault of the LCD or the board. Otherwise, the screen looks great.

The TFT screen that I received has a ribbon cable that is too short to fully seat in the connector causing the screen not to work. Asked about a replacement and got told I must have installed it wrong.
