EVA Hard Case for Hand Held Consoles

This is exactly the case I needed to store my GBA. It fits perfectly and I can squeeze in a game or two. I wish I had just a tad more room for extra batteries with the two games.

For starters, calling it a hard case is a bit of a stretch. It does have structure but is flimsier than I imagined it would be. It's also quite snug and I would recommend getting a hard plastic shell to go around the system itself in addition to placing it in this case for maximum protection. I feel just relying on this case itself might be risky, I can see this case squishing under a bit of pressure or weight when packed in a bag with other things. I find it can fit Gameboys comfortably but DS models are just barely able to rest inside. I would not personally put any GB games in the storage compartment it provides, as this is rather flimsy too and seems far too snug to be able to hold those games without them pressing uncomfortably against the system. I think DS games are small enough to be fine with the system inside as well. The inside of the case is the standard "mesh screen plus a few slots for games" like most third-party carrying cases for consoles. Nothing great but again, fine for what it is.

In spite of all these little criticisms, it's ultimately a fine product that serves its purpose well enough. It comes with an additional handstrap to clip to the metal ring attached to the handle of the case, and this is nice to include with the product. For $10 it's decent enough and I can see myself potentially grabbing another if my partner wanted one for her system(s).
