Hilariously loud

Easy mod to do and fun

Apologize in Advance to the People Around You

Installed this alongside the Dehum mod and the volume is almost comical, though it is still easy to dial in an 'appropriate' volume for when you're around humans or easily startled varmints. Power bombs in Metroid Fusion actually hurt my ears at anything greater than around 75% volume or greater. Worth the money and easy install with basic soldering skills. Get a new speaker while you're at it as you will have to desolder the old one anyway.

Always my go to!

It’s not the easiest mod but when it comes to adding a volume boost to the DMG, there is no substitute!! Sounds good and my customers LOVE it!

Definitely loud!

The sound is much cleaner with this in addition to the dehiss/dehum kit. Even without PureSilence, though, the minimum volume was too loud. If it’s too loud for you, I recommend putting in a voltage splitter, with 8 ohm resistance in parallel to the speaker (10 and 33 in parallel is close enough with standard sizes), and 4 ohms in series on the input line. These probable won’t fit on the front, so wrap them around to the back of the board.

Sounds So Much Louder

The kit is not too difficult to install if you’re familiar with soldering. The sound is 15X louder. I’m afraid to put it at max volume for fear of busting the speaker! This is how the sound should have been. A must have for GBA owners
