These buttons work great and are used to play SSBM, the only thing is that the Z button doesn't have the metal clip on it to retain the springiness. You can definitely take the metal clip off the OG Z button and put it into these though. Works like a charm after that. Only reason I'm giving a 4/5 is because the Z button requires a little extra work compared to the rest.

All the buttons feel fine and fit great, except for the Z button. They all feel very identical to the original buttons, but something about the Z button just made it feel mushy, if you wanted to feel sort of right you had to keep the shell unscrewed a little bit at the top right. Im sad to see the purple stick out like a sore thumb but everything else looks great!

The buttons are beautiful and are a great fit. They work well and are a great value for a totally custom look.

these buttons fixed my mushy A button however the rest of the buttons are 5% too big for the 3rd party controller. I only ended up using the Start and A buttons. Quality craftsmanship and superior feel.

Overall the buttons look great, and feel great except for the Z button. Would have been great if I didn't have to transplant the metal spring from the old Z button to the new one, but I understand you can't have everything. Unfortunately, even though it says they are compatible with Wavebirds, the start button is much too short to work. You can't even press the Start button with it installed since it doesn't stick out of the controller at all. Otherwise this would have been a great kit, but paying $25+ for this isn't quite worth it.
