It's very easy to solder and looks great, the lights are very pretty and it's awesome for modifying your Nintendo. I don't give it 5 stars because the flexible plate causes a loss of sensitivity in one or more buttons and sometimes causes them to not work correctly.

Product arrived on time, was exactly as described and was simple enough to install following HHL YT video. Recomend to anyone who is comfortable doing moderate projects with soldering.

Not the best at soldering but was able to get it all on and working. Unfortunately when trying to change the menu to brighten or lessen the led pressing select and right isn't working. Only lets me change color scheme. Then save. Other than that colors are amazing and it's totally worth it for 20.

Ordered this along with a set of clear membranes (which I didn't end up using as the stock opaque ones do a better job of diffusing and spreading out the light). Arrived flat, and was easy to solder - I especially liked that the designer even has some soldering advice videos on YouTube! My only constructive feedback would be if printed instructions for the operation of the lights could be included, was a little annoying having to search online for them each time I wanted to try to change something.

I don’t know nothing about anything but I did some research and did some soldering practices and took my time and managed to make this work word of advice don’t keep your solder iron on the motherboard to long or you have a increased chance of burning the internals again I don’t know what I’m talking about I’m just going off what I’ve learned not bad handheld legends you didn’t steer me wrong but you helped me learn how much respect I have for precision work. The mod works great. I really like the way it looks with the clear buttons I got from here. Only issue I have is that it came slightly curled, probably from shipping. Not a deal breaker since I used tape like they recommend to hold it in place, but it made it a little hard to get good connections at times. Overall great product and would recommend.
