NOTES:

There is an extra solder pad under the TP2/'select' point you solder to on the CleanLight. This extra pad is meant for the 'select' OSD function wire.

Simple and Works

Was easy to install and works great. Very bright. I have limited soldering skills and was able to figure it out without issue.

Actual instructions would be nice. The only reference I found to use as a guide was a 45 minute video.

Quick instructions:
Line up board with strip
Solder strip to TP2, TP3, S2, and both shoulder button points on board. Be careful that you don't overheat. S2 is very close to another point on the board, be careful not to connect the two points on accident.

Was easy as that. Retrosix does have the video I mentioned on their YouTube channel as well.

Needs on and off controls

It would be nice if you could turn it on and off like in the video for the concept, why wasn't that implemented?

LEDs for the win!

When it comes to soldering, this is the easier ones to do as they left the solder points as a “half moon” shape, making it easier for contact between the PCB board and the copper on the LED ribbon. 10/10

Bright white light!

This install was pretty easy. I haven’t had to solder in a very long time maybe pre than 10 years or so. This kit is lined up perfect to the contacts, all I had to do was make good solder connections to the pads and now my gba shines like diamon!
