Game Boy Advance CleanAmp Pro v1.0 Audio Amplifier - RetroSix

Easy instalI. Recommended also for beginers in soldering. I compared the audio with my Nintendo Switch OLED and the results are amazing. Retrosix never desappoints with their products as well as HHL. I recommend the installation of the GBA Wirefree Dehum Dehiss kit to filter the "dirty" sounds.

I have installed a bunch of the older models and I am liking this version. So easy to install that someone new to soldering could pull it off. Only thing I noticed is it doesn't seem to be as loud as the older models, but it is way louder than the stock speaker!

Got the dehumm and dehiss mod so I figured I'd add this too. It's way too loud and the volume cuts out halfway down the wheel so your options are mute and loud and loudest. I'm gonna take it out. Retrosix suggested cleaning my volume wheel which was silly when I inquired about it which was...silly and ineffective. Get it if you want your GBA to be really loud, I guess!

Just installed the Clean Amp Pro and Dehiss/Dehum kit in my GBA. Flex boards were super convenient and easy enough to install. I was a little disappointed with the durability of the Clean Amp board though. The pad for one of the speaker wires lifted from the flex board when soldered it, so minus 1 star for durability.

As far as performance goes, when paired with the dehum/dehiss kit, the new amp is super loud without any audible distortion or static.

This amp is fantastic. It's loud. You get smooth volume control through the whole wheel. It does go completely silent when the volume is all the way down. It solders on fairly easily. I especially recommend this if you use either of the Funny Playing laminated kits because the other one has capacitors in a weird spot that interferes with the screen bracket. I have used a couple different speakers with these and it seems to work best with the "2 watt speaker" which is also sold on this site (I believe it's recommended for use with the robot retro one but it sounds really good with this amp)

El modulo funciona realmente bien, no hay ruido por la pantalla IPS y la instalación es sencilla y no se necesita usar cables. No he probado con los filtros de mas capacitancia, pero así como viene el módulo me parce excelente. Recomendado.
