Perfect.
The power board works perfectly but the power button itself is a little delicate. I would be careful turning it on and off. It is great to have a new power board since my old one was not salvageable. But the OEM boards when recapped are superior in my opinion. HHL offers a recap kit for the game gear systems and I have used several they work like a charm and are my preference over the new boards. But like I said since one of mine was past saving, I am glad this was an option. Thank you HHL.
My main issue with this board is the power switch is soft and does not have the click and feel of the original. Other that that the board seems to work.
Dropped some coin on 3 of these because they were cheap. they don’t fit the OEM shells very good and the power switch itself has entirely too much play in it. And of the 3, one of them the power switch itself didn’t move hardly at all. HHL did make it right however, and sent me a replacement. Another one, caps burned up. Magic smoke with plain Jane AA’s. Next one was DOA. And I just tossed the third. Total waste of money and should have just sprung for the Clean Juice when it was in stock.
Again, this is no way a reflection on HHL. The product is just garbage.
