The GBA SP USB-C Charging Mod with Audio from Funnyplaying comes with a centered USB-C port with audio out support for enhanced performance. Made with ABS injection molding for a durable bezel, you can experience dependable sound quality and connection stability.
FEATURES:

INCLUDED:

DOCUMENTATION:

- Remove original port and solder on this module in its place. There are six points to solder onto the motherboard.
NOTES:
- To use the audio feature with headphones, you will need a USB-C to 3.5mm audio jack adapter or USB-C headphones. This must be without any DAC, just analog. For example, this one will work.
Picked up one of these after seeing so much about it. I will say that it would’ve been a great product, if I was an adult and didn’t throw it away by accident while clearing my project table. I realize this isn’t any problem of the two companies for this transaction. I fully accept that mishap. Therefore: still a top notch review and included is a pic of what I currently have. Have a great one! :D
Fairly straight-forward install and worth the effort. Trickiest part is aligning the USB port to the board while anchoring it down (make sure the USB port is flush against the board when anchoring).
Came in very quickly, after I soldered the anchors down, I just heated up the back and it made a proper connection and it works beautiful! I did not notice. It came in different colors when I ordered I should’ve matched it to my clear blue!!!! either way wonderful product
Third time getting this neat mod. Very fun to do and the payoff is awesome. Will buy more in the future for upcoming modding.

I have used these on multiple builds now and I absolutely love them, I think they are super high quality, my only real complaint is that I wish they had the bezels in the original gba sp colors like the cobalt blue and silver.
