If you have a Game Boy Advance IPS V2 Kit (Touch sensor or TV-Out version) and need to get it perfectly centered and aligned, as well as held into position, then we sell the perfect 3D printed bracket for the job. 

FEATURES:

  • Place in same orientation as the normal V2 Bracket. Ensure bracket is not sitting on top of PCB board during placement. 
  • Worried about dust entering your console when using this bracket? Add a dust guard for the perfect combination.
  • If you have one of our IPS shells that come with the shell pre-molded for a perfect IPS fit then there is no cutting necessary, just drop the screen into the shell and place the bracket into place.
  • If you have a regular shell, you need to do all the required trimming of the window opening at the bar down the side of the D-pad and Start/Select area.
  • Already have a 3D printer? Download and print the bracket yourself!

Great fit. Not great for clear shells

Centred the IPS great, but didn't end up using it since it was too visible through the shell. Would be great for a solid colour shell.

Did not fit using the prestige case

I ordered this hoping to make the install easier but it did not work at all. The bracket did not fit properly and had I forced it the screen would have broken. I do not recommend wasting money on this. It was much easier lining it up using the free adhesive that comes with the screen.

I spoke with support at Handheld Legends and they were very responsive and did try to help but I had already glued the screen in place. Perhaps I was using the bracket wrong, I can’t tell but I will give this a extra star for the support teams help.

Use this for IPS V3 Unbranded

It's really made to be a perfect fit for the V3 IPS unbranded kit. I tried using other brackets at first and the shell did not completely close. This bracket though fits perfectly and accounts for the circuit board from the kit.
