- We recommend only pairing these shells with RetroSix button sets. Triggers from any other company may have fitment issues with shell.
- Shell can still be used for regular GBAs without IPS screens. Just purchase regular sized screen lens and be aware of having to position/secure the original screen down centered in view due to the opening being larger than normal.
- Not recommended/compatible with Laminated LCD kits.
- There is no logo on these shells.

Purchases are eligible for return within 30 days of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
When you receive a backlight/LCD kit, you should perform a dry run before installing to assure that nothing has been damaged in transit. A dry run or test fit means the kit is not installed in the shell. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of adhesives, brackets, and any performed soldering. All ribbon cables should have no bends or creases in them. If you are unsure how to perform a dry run, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help. Backlight kits that have been installed are not eligible for replacement or return. If a backlight/LCD is returned and shows any signs of having been installed, it will not be eligible for a refund.
Requested returns/refunds/exchanges for items you believe to be defective, will be subject to a troubleshooting process with our support team before proceeding with a return/replacement/refund.
Modifying a product in any way, including but not limited to removing or adding components, will result in the voiding of our return/refund policy.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Defective or damaged parts are free to return within 30 days of purchase. Shipping costs are not covered for items returned at a customer's request or the refusal of the troubleshooting process with our support. Refunds for shipping costs and Route Shipping Insurance will not be given.
Please note that international orders are not eligible for a prepaid shipping label for returns on defective products. Returns must be paid for by the customer.

We reserve the right to deduct an amount proportional to the chosen shipping return method from your refund if you order does not quality for a free return:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 1-7 business days.
Refunds for shipping costs and Route Shipping Insurance will not be given.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account. Then contact your bank or credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

You may cancel or edit orders yourself (before fulfillment) by following the steps in this guide. If you edit/cancel your order, you can expect a refund within 1 to 7 business days. Orders that have been fulfilled by our shipping team cannot have edits made or be canceled. We will do our best to assist customers in this process if needed, but it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their order and shipping information is correct before processing the order. Absolutely perfect. Shipping took a bit long but everything arrived in perfect shape and looks amazing
The shell looks and feels great in the hands. Other replacement shells I have bought elsewhere feel slippery, but this shell feels smooth yet easy to handle. My Gameboy was previously modded for a backlit screen and I was thinking of doing the battery mod, so this shell already having those changes in place was perfect. The one thing that was not clear to me was that the ready for battery mod part of the listing only meant there was no notch in the battery compartment, and I found out afterwards that the battery cover was not ready for the mod. I had to buy the battery mod compatible cover separately and pay shipping again after realizing my mistake. Otherwise this shell is great, better than others I have used for similar or slightly lower prices on amazon.
I love shells that allow you to see the motherboard and internals of handheld systems, so this shell really stuck out to me being fully see through, and boy does it live up to that name!
the case is lovely and looks amazing but my God was it a task putting it together. trying to get the screws to actually **** into the damn thing on reassembly was an absolute mammoth task, I had to actually grip the GBA in one hand against my thigh and use all my strength just to get the screws past the initial few turns and actually in place (which eas very stressful as i was worried the entire time that the motherboard was going to snap/crack or the screen get damaged from the sheer pressure i had to put into it). notice on the left where the screen is misaligned slightly and you can see the side light? well i've got 0% change of ever fixing it, because there is no way in **** those screws will ever be coming out, and if they do i very much doubt they would go back in peacefully.
Thanks for your feedback! With aftermarket products, these are issues that can occur with the shells. The shells screw posts are not pre-threaded because if you need to open the console back up after closing, the more you do so, the more likely it is for the posts to be stripped of the threads or break. However, this creates resistance when putting the screws in the posts or removing them.
You should be able to open up the console at least this one time to make the adjustments on the LCD alignment. The screws would go in easier since you have now created the threads for them in the posts.
It's a beautiful shell. I love how clear it is. The only complaint I have is a none point. One of the replacement screws head broke off. It's only a non-issue because it was one of the screws for the mother board. If that screw broke on another post, it could have been a problem. I still give this item 5 stars, though.
