Test before installation! When you receive a backlight/LCD kit, you should perform a dry run before installing to assure that nothing has been damaged in transit. A dry run or test fit means the kit is not installed in the shell. This includes the use of adhesives, brackets, and any performed soldering. All ribbon cables should have no bends or creases in them. If you are unsure how to perform a dry run, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help. Backlight kits that have been installed are not eligible for replacement or return.
- LCD may break if put under too much pressure or dropped. Please exercise extreme caution when installing.
The frame is lined with adhesive. It appears a little foggy, but I don't notice when the screen is on.
At first I didn't plug it in properly and thought I bent the tiny cable, but it's great. Works better than the replacement I got from Amazon, which calibrated to the right.
Looks, good and works great in every way - it's everything it should be. It's so good that I actually bought another to redo/replace one I did a few years back that was not as good.
The gold connector contacts on the ribbon cable are not attached properly! When it arrived, I noticed that the gold was starting to lift off, but pushing the the layers together and doing a dry run resulted in the screen working. When I went to take it out, one of the gold pins completely severed. I do not recommend :(

The first one of these I ordered had dents all over the screen - they look like stylus dents but the screen seemed factory new. Support was kind enough to send me a replacement but it has the exact same issue. Strange issue. It works fine but yea it ain't going to look new.

The touchscreen worked great. Installed easily it worked perfectly.
A bit hazy looking compared to an OEM digitizer but otherwise works fine.
