I'm very happy with the ips gameboy dmg shell! Its on a different level. It makes the gameboy dmg look like a new and modern hand held console. I suggest it to everyone who wont to refurbish their old gameboy dmg. I love it! ❤️
I didn't end up using this shell in my build, but it seems well-made and had all the metal parts included, which is nice. I'm mostly reviewing the color - it's a very good match for the vintage Pokemon Yellow cart I have (see photo).
Wonderful shell only issue I had was most likely my fault. Ended up having one of the screws for the back shell strip out. Other than that was a fantastic product, loved the fact it is IPS ready so I did not need to trim anything for the screen also helped it was ready for the Cleanjuice XL rechargeable battery mod as well. Feels great in the hand as well.
Just restored and ips swapped my gameboy, shell feels much nicer than the original. Screws leave something to be desired but other than that no complaints.
Really spot on and high quality shell. Feels great. Looks great. Love how easy it makes the install for the rechargeable battery.
This was a serious upgrade to the beat up old shell I had for my GB.
Only downside was the missing text under the screen where it says Nintendo GAME BOY.
