FEATURES:

  • Test the kit before installation! Once the display is mounted it cannot always be safely removed. We ask that you test the kit by hooking it up before removing the screen protector and before fully mounting the display.
  • Logo text on lens is holographic.

    DOCUMENTATION:

    OSD Controls: 

    • Long hold the brightness button to open the OSD
    • Press the button once to change the currently highlighted option
    • Long hold the brightness button again to switch highlighted options
    • To close the OSD simply don't press the brightness button for 5 seconds

    WARNINGS:

    • You do not need to purchase a separate lens. Removing pre-adhered lens from LCD can result in damage to the LCD and will void product warranty. If you received an extra lens in your order, this was likely a included plastic lens with a shell and should NOT be placed on top of the pre-adhered lens.
    • Test before installation! When you receive a backlight/LCD kit, you should perform a dry run before installing to assure that nothing has been damaged in transit. A dry run or test fit means the kit is not installed in the shell. This includes the use of adhesives, brackets, and any performed soldering. All ribbon cables should have no bends or creases in them. If you are unsure how to perform a dry run, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help. Backlight kits that have been installed are not eligible for replacement or return.
    • LCD may break if put under too much pressure or dropped. Please exercise extreme caution when installing.

    Works really well but...

    When I first got the screen I ran a dry test on it and it looked great so I installed it but after about a month of use these lines began to show up.

    It’s simply so stylish and beautiful to look at. I had no problems with the shipping, and also with the installation. It’s probably a bit difficult to insert the ribbon cable, but that’s something that applies to all screens. Definitely recommended.

    Works as it should. Tested it first as suggested before installing. Excellent product. No issues installing except for glueing the ribbon cable part which I manage to fix, but then again, I bought a shell that was made for this screen. So everything fit perfectly. Thanks again!

    Breathing new life to my old GBA SP

    i ordered an IPS screen from Amazon and it was DOA. went with this one through a lot of recommendations from different youtubers and it works great! might pick up a new shell as well!!
