I've used a few of these shells now and I have to say they are a perfect replacement. Other than a couple of loose screws holding the case together, they just work. **** holes are easy to fix though, so not a big deal. The picture of the red unit below is a little satire/parody project I did. I don't believe in the political structure it represents, but I find it funny and so do many others. Needless to say, I will be buying more when I need them. Keep up the quality products.

Pearl blue is a wonderful color. My Gameboy looks fantastic now with this shell. However, the look is not everything.. Even though it says the shell is IPS ready, I had to trim the screen area, because the shell was visible under the screen lens (with the Q5 Retro Pixel IPS LCD Kit and a glass screen lens). I also had to enlarge the contrast wheel cut out area, because the wheel of the IPS screen touched the shell and I could not rotate it. The pearl blue paint is also kind of sticky. I had to scrape away the paint inside the hole of button B because the B button got stuck really often. I still like this shell, it's wonderful. You get a wonderful looking handheld device once you are done with the little modifications here and there.

Could have sworn when I purchased ips ready shells a few years ago that they had Nintendo and game boy on the shell as well as start and select on it.

Love this shell for my build!! Amazing hand feel and IPS ready will make for a perfect upgrade to an already amazing console!

I'm very happy with the ips gameboy dmg shell! Its on a different level. It makes the gameboy dmg look like a new and modern hand held console. I suggest it to everyone who wont to refurbish their old gameboy dmg. I love it! ❤️
