- Use the Left touch sensor to change color, (Hold to turn on/off pixel effect) Use the Right touch sensor to change brightness, (Hold to turn on/off Battery display meter)
- "BAT" point on PCB is pre-tinned.
- Case modification and soldering required.
- Can be used with original (OEM) or aftermarket lens. However, original lenses may cut off a line of pixels around the image.

USING THE OSD:
- Hold Select and press A + B simultaneously to access the OSD menu.
- Press A and B to scroll through the menu (A=Up, B=Down).
- Hold Select and press A to enter a function.
- Press A or B to set desired level (A=Right, B=Left).
- Hold Select and press A to save changes.
- Hold Select and press B to exit.

- How to test your LCD kit - *Soldering is required to dry test this kit. Soldering the power wire in this case will not void the return policy.
NOTES:
- After installation, if it is noted that your touch sensor is overly sensitive or is cycling, please see this article for assistance.
- OSD will not function without a game being inserted into the console.
WARNINGS:
- Test before installation! When you receive a backlight/LCD kit, you should perform a dry run before installing to assure that nothing has been damaged in transit. A dry run or test fit means the kit is not installed in the shell. This includes the use of adhesives, brackets, and any performed soldering. All ribbon cables should have no bends or creases in them. If you are unsure how to perform a dry run, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help. Backlight kits that have been installed are not eligible for replacement or return.
- LCD may break if put under too much pressure or dropped. Please exercise extreme caution when installing.

I would highly recommend this screen.. It looks amazing. Wasn't to hard of an install either. I just have to get used to the user interface. None the less amazing screen!
Ya the title doesnt lie. It Makes the pocket a joy to use and visibility is heavily increased with it.
I ordered the Gameboy pocket shell, buttons, and replacement LCD screen. All of it worked great and looks amazing.
Install went smoothly enough, though when powering on it occasionally does not power the screen and must be power cycled a few times to kick on, with occasional flickering (which is solved by changing the display setting from Original and back)
May be user error, but other than that I love the quality and the gimmicks in this screen with the touch pads being very responsive:)
After following the Q5 IPS LCD installation video step by step, I noticed that the OSD function kept popping up on the screen during game play every time I press the "A" button. After several on line searches of such issue, I did not find a possible fix or solution. Therefore, I had no choice but to disable the OSD function by desoldering the "A", "B" and "Select" wires from the PCB that was included with the purchased IPS kit. Without game play the OSD function work well. Right now the Q5 IPS LCD is operating in default mode with touch sensors functionality. NO OSD Functionality.
