A replacement  top LCD for your Nintendo DS Lite (NDSL).

WARNINGS:

  • Test before installation! When you receive a backlight/LCD kit, you should perform a dry run before installing to assure that nothing has been damaged in transit. A dry run or test fit means the kit is not installed in the shell. This includes the use of adhesives, brackets, and any performed soldering. All ribbon cables should have no bends or creases in them. If you are unsure how to perform a dry run, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help. Backlight kits that have been installed are not eligible for replacement or return.

  • LCD may break if put under too much pressure or dropped. Please exercise extreme caution when installing.

Overall good. Alignment not perfect.

This screen is a great replacement choice for your DS lite.
Overall pretty good.
After installing it I noticed that the screen is laminated slightly crooked. Only by maybe 1mm or so. But it’s noticeable.
The screen performs well. It’s very bright.
The pads on the ribbon cable for soldering the speakers are nice, I’ve had eBay ones detach when heat was applied.

screen works but the panel is not square in the housing

The screen works well enough, but the housing is pushed tight to each flange on the body, and the screen is still slightly crooked. The panel inside is physically not square to the housing of the display. It's not the end of the world, but replacing a DS screen is a lot of work to settle for less than perfect.

It came in looking untouched, then i tested it using 3 mother boards, got zero response.
