The buttons are stronger with newer ABS and more accurate molds than the original, the buttons and triggers are ultra-responsive, the plastic is much stronger and free of any detects like those you get on injection-molded shells.

This replacement has pretty great quality. I was really surprised when I installed the IPS screen and had absolutely no trimming to do whatsoever. It is a little lighter than the OG shell but it does exactly what you’d want it to do. Definitely purchase these if you’re skeptical! Handheld has yet to let me down yet. As well as the best customer service by far.
I purchased my last shell as a gift but I have one of these for my personal GBA as well. Shell looks and feels great. Photo provided is a little old but it’s the only one I have of it completed.
This shell is literally almost perfect. The fitting on the clam shell, the ABS feels high end, no gap AND the most perfect sticker fitting this eyes ever gazed upon. Only one problem, I've been using it for a month now, and the **** holes gave (one for the shell and one that holds the MB).
I did not over torqued them, and/or damaged them in any way. The **** hole is SLIGHTLY smaller than the **** inner OD. Instead of breaking clean, it sorta expanded and cracked in lots of pieces.
Something to consider on the molding.
Need to do a lot more research on Google to do the install especially if you’re soldering the wires to the board.
