Its nice but...

First let me say that this wasn't the best project for me to do in a house with a dog that sheds like crazy but that is a "me" problem. Second, this has nothing to do with Hand Held Legend. I have purchased multiple things from them and they have always been great.

The case is nice and feels well made and one of the only kits where the everything else is clear as well and doesn't make you reuse all the parts from the original. Just had to reuse the screws.

But...compared to the original shell there was some fitment issues with the soundboard section. One post was too tall and one was too short and could not be used. Once I trimed/sanded/shaved that too tall part i was able to get the the board to sit properly. This has to do with the Clear version, its a bit hazy and in some light almost looks yellowish.

I did remove the game lock as after removing the shielding the games seemed to sit lower and the lock would not allow me to turn the system on. Again that was a "me" problem as i had heard that only the US units shipped with all that shielding because of some FCC rules. Either way I like to live dangerously and what is the point of having a clear shell if I just look at shielding. It has not blown up yet but only time will tell.
