Game Boy Advance Li-Ion Battery Mod Replacement 1700mAh

After a couple of months, 3 batteries and 2 boards I ended up returning the Clean Juice Battery. Like others mine would not hold a charge even after replacing the items above. After using traditional AA batteries for over a year without any issues, it looks like I will be going back to using them. As a side note customer service was amazing, I wish I could say the same about the product.

Small battery with jst connector works well for my modded Gameboy Advance and I havent had to charge it after 5 hours of decent gameplay. For the price point it's incredible value and a pretty simple but not clear installation process

I had a funnyplaying battery swell at 3 months, so I decided to get one from a competitor:

Sadly the battery connectors are not compatible with the funnyplaying mods: I had to frankenstein the old battery's connector on the new one which feels deeply unsafe :')

I bought this to replace the same battery for my clean juice mod. Works as it should!

I didn't expect to get SO MUCH battery life from this, having a modded GBA with an IPS screen. It can easily stay on with brightness at 8 (medium but still bright enough to play outside) for 10 hours which is brillant. Easy to install too! It can slip out of the contact points if you push the cable a lot on the side when charging and playing, so you should use the 3M tape that's on the battery. That's an easy fix, and you just have to keep that in mind and you'll be fine.
I put a bit of paper on the corner to make sure it stays connected because I didn't want to permanently glue the battery to the shell (I glued the battery to the charging circuit though).
