Not Compatible with V5 Ultra IPS LCD Unless Modded

Bought this along with a V5 Ultra IPS LCD as I figured the same brand and "IPS Shell" meant it would just fit right in, but I was wrong. There are 2 posts and a piece of plastic that would need removed for the screen to fit, and I do not have the means to remove them without ruining the shell. Still, I am giving it 4 stars as its not bad, and you can pop your OG Gameboy in it no problems. Comes with buttons and screws, which is nice. I cannot use it and unfortunately have to order a different one, but still, this is an affordable shell for those who need it.

Red

Cool blue and bright red.

I paired this shell with the 3.1" Q5 backlight HISPEEDIDO screen and install was simple. So cool, I did a another upgrade to my sister's old Gameboy Now my kids have blue or red to choose from. I liked the fact the kit came with enough Phillips head screws to replace the tri-wing screws if you wanted. Still comes with the tri-wing screws . The shell also includes new battery contacts as well.

Clear Black is Fantastic!

Freaking awesome new shell and feels good to the touch as well. The whole set is very easy to put together and brings the Gameboy back to life! There was no difficulty assembling this beauty together and an easy upgrade for your Gameboy. I definitely recommend buying this shell for anyone that’s looking for something new.
