Proper Hinge Insertion Guide - use caution during this step. Refunds/replacements are not given if hinge housing or hinges break.

NOTES:

Shells have a cutout for the Nintendo Logo sticker.
Buttons and membranes not included.
These shells are not compatible with the original SP screws.
Philips 2.0 screwdriver bit is recommended.
The shells feature self-threading screws as the screw posts are not pre-threaded. To avoid damage, do not over-tighten, as this may cause cracks. Refunds are not given in these instances.

Looks super shiny and kinda cheap

Kind upset with the quality. I thought it would have more of a matte finish but instead is super shiny. It is also IPS ready which isn't stated in the description which is fine but I was going to install an OEM screen into it. Because its IPS ready the **** holes around the screen are not in the same spots as they are on an OEM shell. Its probably a fine shell just not what I was looking for.

I loved the asthetic of this shell but.....

This shell honestly looked great but it is entirely too fragile, I was doing very routine maintenance on my GBA SP and the thing cracked, splintered and fell apart out of no where. Zero dropping, zero mistreatment. Buyer Beware!

Works perfectly even with an OEM screen, like that the screws have been swapped out for Philips, could maybe benefit from a few extra spare parts in the box

I recently purchased this shell as I wanted to get the matching usb c mod for my gameboy advance sp. Within a dozen uses of my gameboy the shell cracked at the hinge. I reached out to support and they were only able to provide a replacement shell at half cost stating it was likely improperly installed. I do console repairs so I can assure it wasn’t. Immediately upon receiving the replacement I installed it and within the same amount of time the replacement failed.

Of course, that may not have been the case here since you do console repairs, but in most situations, a replacement tends to resolve the issue. Looks great, cracked after 1 use.

I've done tons of sp shell swaps, I baught this clear black sp shell, looked great, cracked at the hinges after one use. Can not reccommended.
