FEATURES:

  • Currently LG brand.
  • LCD has glass lens pre-adhered (See Warnings).
  • This listing does not include the IPS ribbon cable to complete the mod. Purchase unbranded ribbon cable separately or an IPS kit.
  • This replacement LCD does not have "Game Boy Advance SP" logo on front.

DOCUMENTATION:

WARNINGS:

  • You do not need to purchase a separate lens. Removing pre-adhered lens from LCD can result in damage to the LCD and will void product warranty.
  • Test before installation! When you receive a backlight/LCD kit, you should perform a dry run before installing to assure that nothing has been damaged in transit. A dry run or test fit means the kit is not installed in the shell. This includes the use of adhesives, brackets, and any performed soldering. All ribbon cables should have no bends or creases in them. If you are unsure how to perform a dry run, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help. Backlight kits that have been installed are not eligible for replacement or return.
  • LCD may break if put under too much pressure or dropped. Please exercise extreme caution when installing.

Excellent screen replacement

I accidentally damaged my previous IPS LCD (from a one-chip kit, not a Funnyplaying kit) and ordered this unbranded screen as a replacement. It works like a charm! Bright, vibrant, and fit perfectly in a new clear-black shell.

Looks amazing!

The screen is so much brighter, crisper and clearer than the original AGS 001 screen that was on there. I can actually play in the daytime now and see what I’m doing, rather than try and fight the sunlight. The only downside is that it drains my battery, so I bought a new longer lasting battery that hopefully stands up to the power that this screen desires. Other than that I love it!
