Grabbed the Atomic Purple version and it worked out perfectly.
Solid feel, perfectly cut for the IPS V2 display.
Super happy with the quality of the product. They are as described and worked perfectly for my GBA mod. I’m a DIYer and I didn’t run into any issues whatsoever.
I found the shells very satisfactory. They were cut perfect and made that part of the mod for IPS screens much easier. I had been planning to cut the original shells myself, but after careful review of several tutorial and much consideration I decided to go with pre cut shells as I would not be able to cut the shells as cleanly and precisely as they came. I had even went out and bought a dremel drill and accessories to do so but it still would not be possible to cut the shells as precisely without using a Cnc devise. One side of the shell would have to be reduced in width by half if not more and it was already about 1/16 inch wide. To save to and myself some agrivation I skipped that part. I would say that the new shells are of the same quality as the original shells there are som interesting colors. My only regret being that clear fucia was not available at the time of my order. My original shells were glacier and fucia. I went with glacier and atomic purple for the mods. Unfortunately it would not be worth it to reverse the mod for a different colored shell at this point. It would be to difficult to get the screen back out without damaging it as they are delicate. Now that I've done the mod perhaps later I can do one in fucia. Anyway I was glad to have heard of handheld legend as it was quicker and easier than ordering from retro modding being located in Canada. I really wanted to order from a reputable seller.
A nice shell so far, doesn't seem to close quite as tightly as OEM so not sure if that contributes to dust issues I've been having or if that's something to do with the lens or the gasket on my install, but the plastic is good and it feels nice in the hands
