I have installed IPS screens in the GBA and can say I prefer doing this on the DMG. The install is easy and the case modifications are average in difficulty. I saved this particular Gameboy from the trash. It was about to be discarded because the screen was beyond repair. The on screen menu is awesome and is wonderful for centering the screen in the viewing window. I’d highly recommend this.

installing thia display was a dream compared to some of the other mods i had to do before. aside of cutting the display area a little bit larger , it is quite easy, and the result is quite stunning!

I was worried about it not being a deep enough red, but it honestly pops. I'm absolutely enamored with the way this thing looks now! Everything but the screen and mobo is from HHL. Great service. The best!

This mod is probably one of the best mods you can do to a DMG, extremely easy to install, and works extremely well. Only one downside is that there is some minor light bleed on black screens in the bottom right corner but I believe there has been a bracket made available on thingsverse to 3d print to fix that issue
