Nintendo DS Lite Screen Lens

You CANNOT separate an OEM lens from the OEM digitizer and put a new lens on it. You need to buy a new, separate digitizer to use with the new separate lens. The DS lite shell kit includes two of these lenses and fails to explain that, so of course I ruined my OEM digitizer and found out the hard way.

I thought this would work similarly to GBA/GBC screen lenses in that it has a lightly sticky side, but I guess not? I removed my prior lens and swapped this one on and... it just... falls off, lol. Guess I'm dumb. But just in case anyone else is equally dumb: don't plan for it to stick! (If that's what you need it to do)

It doesn't come with an adhesive to actually install the lens, so after that, due to a series of unfortunate events my DS Lite died.

This was the only play I’ve found so far that would offer both lens frame for the DS lite separate from a full shell. I got to choose the color I wanted and it arrived quickly and without any problems for a more than reasonable price (less than $8 after shipping). I’m very happy with my purchase and I’m excited to start my work soon to replace a scratched up lens (among other parts).

This screen lens came pre-scratched. I took it out and it had multiple deep scratches on the softer back side that had been made through the plastic protective sheet. Its 1.50$ so its whatever but just be aware the back side of these screen lenses are insanely soft.
