It works well

It works as advertised, was super easy to install, and looks good even with the drill hole. The controller mapping software is a bit of a pain. I wish it used an app instead of a Windows form application.

Great mod, easy install!

First off, this mod works great! It didn't take too long to install and I managed to drill the hole for the sync button perfectly.

However, when my product arrived the battery in it was snapped off. I had to solder a wire to the connections and hot glue it to make it work. I could have asked for a replacement but I was impatient.

The instructions were pretty clear and it was a fairly straightforward install.

Would be nice if there's custom cases/builds with the hole already drilled out. Take your time and get the alignment right :)

3 star product from a 5 star vendor.

iBlueControlMod is a perfectly functional product that lacks the nuanced control a builder would desire from a more designer console renovation, I will explain.

The iBlueControlMod has no control over the primary console power LED. You can change the default green power LED for a different color, however it's the behavior that you can't control: it pulses by default.

The iBlueControlMod, when not paired with a Bluetooth controller will pulse the Dreamcast's power LED. This is not a first-time-setup behavior, it happens every time you power on the console.

Why is this a problem?

If you're using a controller such as a RetroDC wireless controller, steering wheel, twin stick, or light gun and aren't using a Bluetooth controller such as a Dualsense or Xbox One controller, the console will be blinking constantly, demanding your attention.

There's no control within the software application to change this behavior.

The product works, and works well at what it does. But it lacks the controls to make it a product I would recommend to others.

Side note: the controller ports are sloppy and controllers will slide in and out of them without resistance, making them feel cheap and insecure.
