Love how much the buttons and switches on this match the two tone purple buttons on the SNES remote. Everything clicks well as it should and the display is beautiful. Couldn’t ask for more.
I bought this to replace my Analogue Pocket because the Analogue Pocket has a lot of issues that I'm unhappy with (fragile, uncomfortable to use without the use of third-party grips, has a wonky cartridge slot that doesn't pair well with the shoulder button placement, has issues reading flash carts, etc.).
While the screen on this modded SP may technically not be as good as the Analogue Pocket, it's more than decent enough to get the job done and everything else was a huge step up. This very much feels and plays like an upgraded version of the Gameboy Advance SP that I had when I was younger. I'm very, very happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it to anyone whose primary interest is games from the Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance eras.
