Installation:

Unscrew the four bottom Dreamcast screws as shown in the photo.
Remove the top lid and then remove the two power board screws (see photos).
Fit the robot_retro board in exactly the same way as the OEM power board was removed.
Fit 3D printer USBC spacer.
Reassemble the console.

NOTES:

After install if you are having power issues, please check your power supply and USB-C cables. Robot_Retro recommends this wall charger for the best power delivery.

Great replacement

A great replacement for my aging Dreamcasts power supply.

Wonderful product however...

Easy to install, looks great, shipped safely, and exactly what I wanted. I have it paired with a GDEMU 5.15 and my son accidentally left it on overnight but I had no issues. Here's hoping I have no issues for years to come. Thank you!

My only wish is that I understand it is a curtesy to send a 3D spacer with the PSU however I wish I could have picked the color that was sent with, because I have a Sega Sports model Dreamcast, and I wanted a black spacer to match. I ordered an extra one in black as I did not read the description here fully where it stated that one was going to be included. Now I just have this extra one sitting here on my desk. If I did my due diligence and read the whole description, I would have just sprayed the white spacer black to match to save a buck.

If I could offer something to improve for user friendly options like on other sites, I'd suggest adding a mandatory option of choosing the preferred color of the included 3D printed spacer before adding to cart. I would appreciate the option to choose so I don't end up with an extra part, but it is merely a suggestion. It certainly won't stop me from ordering again.

Really good so far

Works great, first I thought it didn't work because it crash after 30min of play, but I realized it was my power brick, works with a steam deck power supply.
