GameCube Controller T2 Joystick/Thumb Stick

The joystick is significantly tighter than the originals, but even more important is that there is a significant dead zone, and the joystick registers full forward way sooner than it should. My favorite game is Monkey Ball so I am pretty picky about this personally. I ended up re-using the potentiometers from my original joysticks, as I was only replacing them because they were very loose. That fixed the sensitivity issues at least, but overall I am disappointed. I wish I just looked for Wii nunchucks to use as donors instead, and likely will to replace these sticks soon.

I've used these to repair several controllers already. They are great replacements. They feel tighter than the originals but they function just the same.

This stick is a great quality replacement. Install was smooth as butter if you do it properly with the correct materials.
It's a bit stiffer than the original stick box, but that's to be expected.
It's also the proper height for aftermarket plastic thumb sticks. I got my plastic piece from retromodding, and found it was too low on the original box. I got careless and melted my oem plastic piece with my soldering iron. Luckily i had the spare.

The plastic parts are also quite tough to get onto the stick, but it's nothing outrageous. Overall it's a great part in my eyes.

the stick sits too high, the resistance values must be off as you lose most fine controls. I've tried sooo many stock replacements.. and there are no good ones.

Installed easily. Overall feel is a little off. The stick does not return to center as easily as an OEM stick does. Final installed height is a hair short when paired with the available replacement covers, which means the underside of the top of the cover hits the hole in the shell instead of the middle part. I had to use a little graphite powder to free up the internal axies. I'm hoping it loosens up with play.
