Amazing sound

I paired this with the Dehum and Dehiss kit which is a must. The NGPC is already a quiet system and has a lot of hiss similar to the GBA. The sound is really loud now, but also crisp and I'm using the OEM speaker. A very quick and easy install too.

MUST BUY for NGPC! (Slim model too if willing to do extra wiring)

I got two of each (CleanAmp Pro & Dehum/Dehiss) for my NGPC & NGPC Slim. The difference in sound quality, clarity & especially volume was night and day! I've used these kits before on Nintendo handhelds and the gains were worth it but modest - but for the NGPC it is a HUGE improvement over stock! Not only is the sound better overall but now even headphones are amazing (used to hate using headphones before since the quality was marginal at best and bad buzzing and hissing was constant). Installation was easy. 2 solder points for the speaker, 6 solder points for the amp & 3 solder points for the dehum - one of which is shared with one of the 6 points on the CleanAmp so really only 10 quick dabs of solder in total. Since it's wire free the actual positioning and soldering itself took 2-3 minutes!! 90% of my time was opening up the handheld and putting it back together afterwards. Soldering into the NGPC Slim was more work but that's because it wasn't designed for it, but RetroSix was kind enough to give me a photo showing how to install it in the Slim model with a few bits of wire. I couldn't be happier with the results!

Loud Sound, Easy Install

Using it with the Dehum kit. It gets loud, and it's easy to install. Also using the original speaker, but put longer wires on it to make it easier to open and close the shell. At least for me it was made easier.

Easy to Install, gets loud

Installed with dehumm dehiss module and IPS upgrade. As with all the other CleanAmps I've used before it's a decent volume upgrade without distortion at high volumes. No complaints, works great.

Definitely a big difference and aweseome upgrade

This and the de-hum and hiss kit sold do an awesome job really cranking the volume up on the neo geo and giving you some awesome sound.

Just got in the mail. Installed it. Great sound. Don't know if I'll play it at full volume just because of battery but hopefully rechargable battery would come next. It's good it's worth it.

When you receive a backlight/LCD kit, you should perform a dry run before installing to assure that nothing has been damaged in transit. A dry run or test fit means the kit is not installed in the shell. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of adhesives, brackets, and any performed soldering. All ribbon cables should have no bends or creases in them. If you are unsure how to perform a dry run, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help. Backlight kits that have been installed are not eligible for replacement or return. If a backlight/LCD is returned and shows any signs of having been installed, it will not be eligible for a refund.

Requested returns/refunds/exchanges for items you believe to be defective, will be subject to a troubleshooting process with our support team before proceeding with a return/replacement/refund.

Modifying a product in any way, including but not limited to removing or adding components, will result in the voiding of our return/refund policy.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Defective or damaged parts are free to return within 30 days of purchase. Shipping costs are not covered for items returned at a customer's request or the refusal of the troubleshooting process with our support. Refunds for shipping costs and Route Shipping Insurance will not be given.

Please note that international orders are not eligible for a prepaid shipping label for returns on defective products. Returns must be paid for by the customer.

We reserve the right to deduct an amount proportional to the chosen shipping return method from your refund if you order does not quality for a free return:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 1-7 business days.

Refunds for shipping costs and Route Shipping Insurance will not be given.
