Precision Pads For Gamecube Controller and GC Ultimate

Honestly these feel even better than oem, at least they feel better than my gc controller. Really good, a solid choice for membranes.

The pads are of excellent quality. The OEM ones I had installed had already cracked. The HHLs are quite smooth; it only took me a couple of days to get used to them

When I first got my GCU, I immediately switched out the included pads in favor of OEM GCC pads. The included pads were way too stiff (typical for 3rd party), but the OEM pads felt really good. I was excited to see that HHL was designing pads based on the feel of OEM.
Unfortunately, when I received the Precision Pads, they felt a bit too soft [for me], especially for the split d-pad. Compared to OEM, the Precision Pads are noticeably less snappy - feels almost linear - with a mildly squishy bottom-out (namely the 'B' button). I believe it was stated that the Precision Pads were modeled after the T1 GCC membranes (I could be misremembering), but I, unfortunately, do not own a T1 to do a direct comparison.
Of my 4 OEM GCCs (2 T2s, 1 T3, 1 Sm4sh), the Precision Pads most closely resemble the pads on the Sm4sh GCC, but OEM still feels a bit snappier.
It's the same story when I install the Precision Pads into an OEM GCC, they're just a tad too soft.
I will say, the LEDs are bright and look great with these pads. I also like how they feel on the triggers. Still a little soft, but I prefer less resistance when doing a digital press. These have a pretty nice and short travel, as well.
As for durability, I would need to use these a lot more to see how they wear over time. I'm sure someone else could bring more insight about this in the future.
Overall, I'd say these are good if you don't have access to OEM pads, don't like how most 3rd party pads are overly firm, and/or you like bright LEDs.
Thank you, HHL. I'm always looking forward to seeing what you have in store, next!
