As usual, they work like a champ! Definitely the perfect replacement for aftermarket shells.

Used a set of these to replace worn out originals. I did have the ball bearing D-pad but had no issues with swapping out. When using original buttons could feel difference in handling. This was part of an upgrade process so already had the Prestige buttons on hand. Swapped out the originals and feel and handling was back to the norm. I have been the only owner of this Game Gear and it has seen heavy use in it's near 30 years of life. Believe it or not even the buttons wear so it could have simply been due to well worn buttons. :)
Overall really pleased with this purchase and ordered more for a second Game Gear I am refurbishing for a friend.

I've only used these for their Prestige buttons so I can't say they work well with OEM but I've had no issues with them.

These replacement membranes are simply too soft, when compared to even worn Game Gear pads.
As stated they are also only compatible with certain original Game Gear buttons (if your originals have a ball bearing inside the D pad membrane you cannot use these) or the are compatible with Handheld Legend's own replacement buttons.
Avoid these - You will not be happy with them at all. If you have the ball bearing type membranes in your stock GG, and want to buy new prestige buttons, just cut the ball bearing center piece out and reuse the original membranes, even for the action buttons.

Installed these bad boys in to replace some ript up ones. Seems to do the job. Transparent, goes well with the clear case replacement.

I have just found out about this company and I’m glad I did love how many products they have and the variety is great to. The silicone membranes I got work great and have zero issues!!
