Bought this to replace my old OEM battery, the new battery wouldn't even fit into the OEM shell or even the aftermarket shell I had. I do not feel comfortable forcing in the battery as that is something that one should never do, it risks destroying the battery itself or even the shell in some cases.

I got this it works and the battery life seems as advertised but it was an extremely tight tight fit in my ags 101
Warning do not use this battery back on your original shell housing as it will literally crack your entire back piece in half of how tight the fitting is. Upon squeezing the pack in it just cracked in half, so disappointing losing my original shell..

It's a battery. Not very complicated. It fits GBA SP. It recharges, it holds a charge. I don't know what else to say. If you're familiar with batteries, don't be surprised to find no surprises.
It’s a really tight fit on the OEM, if you are going to use it on the OEM, don’t. Batteries expand a little when charging or when stressed, the expansion is minimal but in a tight fit doesn’t seem like a good idea, not to mention SP batteries the OEM as well included get permanently expanded after some time. If people heard about the Samsung Note 7 situation of exploding batteries, this was the reason, it was in there really tight, i don’t think it will explode, but why risk it.
