FEATURES:

  • The CleanAmp replaces the original audio amplifier of the Game Gear with a modern smooth and crazy loud class D amplifier.
  • Experience the sounds of the old school games like you will of never heard them before, in clear, responsive detail.
  • No soldering required. Wire-free install. Simply unscrew the old amp from the shell and place the CleanAmp in it's place.
  • Provides a clean, stable and efficient output with clear, responsive and very loud audio. The sound is well over 300% louder than the original, can be heard 20 meters away.

*Currently not compatible with OEM speaker.

*We have become aware of a small incompatibility with ports on certain versions of the Game Gear. If you find that you are having fit issues, this is resolved by slight modifications - video instructions to come. If you have questions regarding any of this, please message support.

  • Cut the white border off from the CleanAmp that is stopping it from fitting.
  • Then push green connector down half way.
  • Any direction is safe to try as no harm comes from that but we believe it's should be oriented the way with 2 tabs facing down.

Great amp and sound PCB replacement

Nice loud and crisp sound. Using a new speaker. And even if you don't want loud, it still a great replacement for faulty sound PCBs.

Cleaner & Louder than my ex.

Great product to swap in with minimal effort. While you are taking the GG apart, go ahead and put a new speaker in. You will notice that the buzzing and humming have almost gone imperceptible if not fully disappeared. The amp and speaker are a must have at this point.

It was easier to install than replacing capacitors on the sound board. The max volume is way louder now.
