These buttons are after market sets and are better suited for after market shells.
Fitting issues may occur if trying to use in original (OEM) shells.

Poorly cut

The buttons weren't cut right and don't really fit well. the "A" button sticks pretty bad because of it and the "R" button was so rough it doesn't actually move when in the shell. I was also a little disappointed the color was very faded and not bright like the sample pictures

Remember new third party buttons do not fit old shells.

These looked super slick in the RetroSix shell I got!

If you use these for tighter or OEM shells, you probably need to shave the shoulder buttons a tiny bit. If you are comfy with trimming, they should work with anything on the market!

I knew these were intended for aftermarket shells, so I thought I'd take a chance that they would fit a RetroSix shell. The L/R triggers do not, just like OEM shells. Everything else fits fine.

Great upgrade but LR bumpers don't work well with OEM shells

I love these buttons and I've put them in every handheld I've modded. The only problem I've had is the bumpers don't fit well in an original GBA shell; they work - barely - but they hardly move at all... even after sanding a good bit.
