I get these button membranes each time i refurbish a Gameboy color. Not sure why I keep getting them knowing that the start and select membrane is complete garbage. It’s to short and always falls back into the shell and you end up digging it back out each time. Eventually I just put the original one back on after advising the person I’m doing it for of the issue. Really needs to be fixed that way it can be complete working set.

The only ones that work are the D-pad and A/B buttons. The start/select button does not work at all. It looks like the actual silicone pieces (little black dots) shifted out of place during the molding process. You can see them "floating" in the rubber. They're not worth sending back for replacement so I'll chuck it up as a loss.

These are exactly what I was hoping for. They've got the nice springy feel of new membranes, and they should look right at home in my GBC. I bought the clear colour as I intend to use a smoky-clear GBC shell and I thought anything else might be too standout-ish from the outside. Very excited to refurb my childhood GBC!

These replacement membranes come in a lot of colors and when it comes to replacing old and worn out or broken membranes they definitely do the job! Its also really easy to install them. Give em a try if you are having problems with button detection on your GBC.
