Clear shells will be a frosted clear, unless the variant title states "Mirror Clear".
The shells feature self-threading screws as the screw posts are not pre-threaded. To avoid damage, do not over-tighten, as this may cause cracks. Refunds are not given in these instances.
Battery housing trimmed for battery mods. Does not include USB-C modified battery cover.

Nice Quality!

I have no complaints with my shell. From what I can tell the clear shells might be less durable, and make sure not to over tighten your screws. I got the solid white, and I absolutely love it!

Clear Royal Blue

Weak shells

Had the shell installed on my GBA and the front faceplate is cracked in multiple places: right d-pad area, bottom left corner and upper right corner of screen, and three speaker grill. Very weak plastic if it only lasted a week. Never dropped it.

Wonderful combo

This paired with the laminated ITA display is phenomenal. The shell isn't exactly on par with the official shells but it's certainly close enough and eliminates so much work in cutting a shell to fit the laminated display. Just be warned, if you have a translucent shell the display will leak light into the corners of the screen, but that can be fixed with some electrical tape in the right places. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend going this route unless you don't like the color choices provided. (The shell in the picture is Fluorescent green, it glows in the dark, and it glows even brighter if you have an LED mod installed.)

Hard to rate this well.

Cracked already.. less than 2 weeks of having it. Screws were not overtightened. These shells aren't good quality.

SFC Gray

Planning on building a SNES GBA? Don't, "SFC Gray" stinks. Pick any other color

I bought the so called "SFC Gray" with the intention of building a SNES GBA but the color is just off. It's too dark, with a slight blue hue and I hate it. I hate even more when I set it next to my SNES. That aside, it is a good shell. Well molded, properly thick and does what says on the tin.... so I bought a clear one later. I've also got this in translucent black and that one is swell.... but to heck with "SFC Gray"

Big Miss from Funny Playing

I have to say these IPS 3.0 screens and matching shells are a big miss from FunnyPlaying. I put three of them together and immediately after you push the right shoulder button a few times the shell starts to crack. I’m using Funnyplaying shell, screen and button kit. Really disappointed in this design from funny playing. The bad thing is I have multiple of these screens and I can’t trust to send they won’t crack on the people who buy them. Very bad design…
