    NOTES:

    • To factory reset hold Select + D-pad left while turning on.
    • Current version of board is white.
    • If you're performing the Game Boy Macro mod simply bridge the two points labeled "Macro" with solder and install normally according to the install guide. The RetroGlow has a resistor on it for the Macro mod added resistor at “LEDA2 and LEDC2”.
    • We have found that this mod paired with a mix of original and aftermarket buttons and membranes, can cause press issues. If you experience this issue, we recommend pairing with only original buttons and membranes or aftermarket buttons and membranes. We highly recommend to use with eXtremeRate sets.

      Pretty Good!

It's very easy to solder and looks great, the lights are very pretty and it's awesome for modifying your Nintendo. I don't give it 5 stars because the flexible plate causes a loss of sensitivity in one or more buttons and sometimes causes them to not work correctly.

      It lights up

All of the contacts soldered easily except the ground contact. I don’t know it was the motherboard or rgb flex board but it wouldn’t solder together and I had to get creative

      It doesn't glow at all.

I don't know if mine is the only one that is broken, but when I first installed it, it lit up for a moment, but then I had to keep pressing the select button to get it to light up, or after that it didn't light up at all. I contacted support but no response. Don't buy this one. The sensitivity of the switch is very poor when you install this kit in the first place. In my case, the right side of the cross key did not respond no matter how many times I tried.

Thanks for your review! Support tickets are generally answered within 1 to 3 business days (M-F) pending current ticket volume. They will get back to your support ticket as soon as they can if they haven't already!

      Ds lite retroglow

Works great, easy to hook up. Was not able to get it work in conjunction with helders macro amp mod, just FYI for those wondering.

      Great value for the money

Ordered this along with a set of clear membranes (which I didn't end up using as the stock opaque ones do a better job of diffusing and spreading out the light). Arrived flat, and was easy to solder - I especially liked that the designer even has some soldering advice videos on YouTube! My only constructive feedback would be if printed instructions for the operation of the lights could be included, was a little annoying having to search online for them each time I wanted to try to change something.

      Wonderful rgb board

I don’t know nothing about anything but I did some research and did some soldering practices and took my time and managed to make this work word of advice don’t keep your solder iron on the motherboard to long or you have a increased chance of burning the internals again I don’t know what I’m talking about I’m just going off what I’ve learned not bad handheld legends you didn’t steer me wrong but you helped me learn how much respect I have for precision work. Have fun y’all and take your time! PS sorry I didn’t taken a photo
