Did not receive what is pictured - disappointed

Please see the picture of the membranes I received. These did not fit in place on the Gameboy Pocket and were unusable. Ended up having to use the originals from some older systems. This is the first order I've ever had anything bad to say about from HHL :(

Great, works exactly as advertised

Don't know what to say really other than that the buttons feel original and look great. One thing to note: the membrane color doesn't matter for gameboy pocket other than for start/select. The color you pick will be visible via those buttons, so choose accordingly!

I can't imagine a world without these anymore.

Laminated kits have the lens fused to the screen, keeping it dust-free and providing better clarity but limiting customization.

Non-laminated kits have a separate lens, offering more customization but may attract dust over time.

What is light bleed and is it covered by warranty?

Light bleed is when backlight leaks from the screen edges, often visible on dark backgrounds. It’s common in edge-lit displays like Game Boys. Minor light bleed is considered normal and not covered unless caused by build pressure or a defect.

What should I know about third party mods?

Most mods come from different manufacturers and may not be compatible with each other. This can lead to issues if mismatched parts are used. This is referred to as mod stacking.

Mod stacking happens when combining mods from various brands. Problems may include power issues, noise, fitment conflicts, or exclusivity limitations. Our builders are designed to help prevent these conflicts.
