I've installed 3 of these now and all work great! Soldering them in was pretty easy and they do amplify the sound without going overboard. I'd add this to any Gameboy pocket I'd make in the future.
good product but make sure you make adjustment as it a tight fit with everything cramp inside. make sure replace all the capacitor for cleaner and louder speaker.
Makes a huge difference and great pad alignment with the PCB. I did have one of the pads on the ribbon start to lift with pretty minimal heating but no big deal.
