Perfect replacement screen for my GBC

I ordered a glass lens replacement for my scratched up gameboy color I had purchased from a used game store. I held the HHL lens up to the original lens before doing the switch, because I’m super picky and if it didn’t match I was going to leave the original in. To my eyes, I couldn’t tell a difference. No brainer purchase. If you need a replacement this is the one for you. Already has adhesive on the back after you peel off the paper. I was confused at first why the center paper was still there where the screen would be seen, but then I was finally able to peel it off as well. I guess instructions would have helped, but it was still easy enough to figure out haha. I also ordered a plastic lens to see which one I might like better, but I accidentally got one without a logo on it. The glass one looks much better anyway I’m sure. Would highly recommend the glass one. It’s so crystal clear now, and I can enjoy one of my favorite handheld systems again without those distracting scratches. Quick shipping, and great prices for quality replacement lens! Added before and after pics and a short video comparing the logos before installing.

Great and Easy Replacement

This is a no-brainer: If you're repairing/modding an old GBC with a scratched-up lens, pop it out and replace it with one of these.

White - Holographic

Discoloration in the holo text is awful

Most of the foil text has discoloration in it. It looks like adhesive residue underneath the glass. The "Y" in Boy is the only letter that looks perfect.

This screen lens looks so good on my clear modded GBC. A perfect fit for the Funnyplaying IPS.

Perfection

I have the GBC tempered glass in black/regular text, black/gold and white/silver. They really add character to the GBC builds that I just finished. The glass is flawless and fits perfectly onto the replacement shells without the need to use any kind of glue or extra adhesives. I will be buying these again for future builds and strongly recommend them to anyone who is considering getting one to replace their plastic screens.
