NOTES:

USE CAUTION and take your time when threading screws into shell posts. If inserted/screwed in too far, the screws can poke out the other side of the shell. Refunds/replacements are not given if this occurs.
Shell Kits DO NOT INCLUDE IPS kits or hinges.
Clear shells are more of a frosted clear.
Shells do not have a cutout for the front Nintendo Logo sticker.
These are full kits. No swaps of buttons, membranes, etc between kits will be accepted.
Works with OEM (Original) LCD's. A small bracket/adhesive may be needed to keep the LCD from shifting around in the top housing.
The shells feature self-threading screws as the screw posts are not pre-threaded. To avoid damage, do not over-tighten, as this may cause cracks. Refunds are not given in these instances.
Certain variants will include a screen protector. This is not a lens and an optional add on. It is placed on the outside of the shell. The adhesive on this screen protector is very strong and is precisely cut to fit the SP frame perfectly. Removal of this screen protector requires the provided tri-wing screwdriver to open the top lid in order to gain access to any corner of the screen protector. Do not use rubbing alcohol, hair dryers, or any sharp objects in an attempt to remove the protector, as this could cause serious damage to the LCD. As this is a plastic screen protector, it is prone to light scratches. Remove any dust or debris before placing the lens.

Scarlet Red (Soft Touch)

Quality plastic, however it is painted plastic on my scarlet red.

The quality is top notch. No issues with fitment or assembly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is a painted plastic shell, vs the plastic itself being the color. Within 2 days scratches are visible.
Definitely a clear option would work best as it's a a homogeneous plastic.

The most mesmerizing shell!

I think that it is a great replacement shell, especially as it is really meant to be paired with a new screen. I am a little bummed that it was not able to retain the Nintendo logo on the top, but that is of course minor. Installation was simple, though I would like the screws to be better identified prior to installation, as I was not always sure when to use which ****. Wish I could buy many more colors but I don't have that many GBA SPs!

Clear Emerald Green

Beautiful shell

The emerald green shell is absolutely beautiful, I just stare at it sometimes. Fitment was great with my IPS v5 screen.

It was nice that buttons and membranes were included, but I did not use them as the ones from my donor SP were still in great condition.

The included tools are usable in a pinch.

The only reason this is not a 5 star product is the included Triwing screws, they are INCREDIBLY SOFT and feel like they would strip any second. I ended up using the OEM Triwings from my donor SP for everything besides the two shorter ones on the bottom as the included seem to be slightly shorter than the OEM ones.

Great Shell! Easy to replace!

Bought this along with a new screen and I have to say it’s a fantastic upgrade. First time I’ve ever taken anything apart and modded it and now I’m hooked! Now I want to upgrade my other gba and my Gameboy pocket next, maybe see what else I can do! I did notice that some of the screws would be close to stripping like some others have mentioned, specifically for me when I was tightening the five around the screen. Otherwise, I didn’t see much of an issue, so long as you take it slow and don’t force it. Great product!
